How long will my plumbing project take?

Most repairs can be done within a day. Larger repairs, including home re-pipes, sewer line repairs, and remodels may take up to a week to complete. We take pride in doing top-notch work, and will make sure we leave your home with honest, quality work completed.

What is a hot water recirc system?

A recirc system moves hot water through your homes plumbing system. This allows you to have almost instant hot water, instead of waiting for it to come to you from the hot water heater, that may be located on the other side of your house. If you turn your water on and have to wait too long for hot water, it may benefit you to install a recirc system. Not only does the hot water get to you quicker, you save wasted water, waiting for it to get warm.

Why is my water pressure so low and how do you fix it?

Low water pressure can be caused by old pipes. Some of the other causes include a bad faucet, water leak, malfunctioning or a low setting on your pressure check valve. Check with your neighbors and see if they have the same problem. The next solution would be to check your faucets to see if they all have low water pressure. If only one has low water pressure, it may be a clogged aerator in the faucet.

How soon can you be here?

At Direct Plumbing Solutions, we pride our business on being prompt and responding as quickly as we can for homeowners. For plumbing emergencies, we will go out of our way to get a leak stopped or a hot water heater up and running.

My garbage disposal is stuck, how do I unjam it?

Garbage disposal jams are often caused by a fruit pit, bone, or other hard object stuck between the impeller blade and the drain hole. Do not try and run your garbage disposal if it is jammed, you can burn up the motor. Refer to your owners manual or give us call and we can get you back up and running in no time!
